High Value Rewards

High-value rewards are key to piquing a dog's interest in training.
TREATS
Mix up your pup's treats to retain their interest and make things fun!
These work well for our trainees:
Cheese
Hotdogs
Freeze-dried kibble
Vienna sausages
Boiled chicken
Just remember that all treats should be given in moderation.
TOYS
Dogs who aren't into treats may prefer playtime with one of their toys as a reward. A quick game of tug or retrieving a ball can be as sufficient of a prize as a treat. Just be sure that the toy is only used as a reward to retain its high value.
